Students - These were the website we were playing in math today. Make sure you practice some this weekend! Remember, when you graph points, start at the origin (middle) and then move left or right first, then up or down.
For example - for the coordinates (3, -4) you would start in the middle, move to the right 3 spaces and then move down 4 spaces.
For the coordinates (-2, -4) you would start in the middle, move to the left 2 spaces and then move down 4 spaces.
Practice this weekend so that you can come in as an expert on Monday!!!
I have been practicing the Cartesian Alien and I think it is fun. I think the next time we play this game we should do it with out the quadrant numbers.
