Math for Parents!
A common concern for parents and students alike is where to find answers when questions arise about math homework. The website listed below has some excellent resources. The listing on the left has a "site for parents" tab. After clicking on the tab, click on "mathematical help." From here, scroll down the page and you will see a red, blue, and green textbook. Click on the red book to access valuable information about concepts being taught in the 6th grade connected math series. AP students begin the year with Bits and Pieces III and Honors students begin the year with Data About Us. I will update this page as we progress through books so that you can find the appropriate resources based on what material your child is currently working on. As always, you can also e-mail me at Sharon.Klump@jefferson.kyschools.us with questions about math homework and I will be happy to assist as best as possible through e-mail.
